About Rodents

The Rodents are a Minneapolis-based original rock band made up of longtime friends and local South Minneapolis musicians whose roots go back to the early punk and new wave days at the Longhorn Bar, the Uptown Bar and First Avenue & 7th Street Entry.

When forming the Rodents, Larry and Doug traveled the U.S. as stage techs for national touring bands, soaking up life on the road and the raw power of live rock shows. That energy now fuels their own music – gritty, tight, and full throttled. Known for their engaging style, the Rodents blend classic rock, roadworthy twang punk attitude, and a dash of garage grit.
